A vote for Predictive dialers

Predictive dialers are the equipment that dials numbers and schedules calls in a call center. This by itself isn’t such a bad thing but the fact is this equipment allows for greater efficiency where most families would prefer LESS. We’re talking about telemarkers! Yep, the telemarketing business lives or dies on the predicitive dialler. The reason is that many of the so called call centers want to push the maximum number of calls through per person on the phone. This means there’s little time between calls for the call center employee to catch their breath or do a relaxing stretch.

So even though you may be angry for the interruption, try to consider the person on the other end. They’re probably a lot like you, just trying to make end meet and pay their bills. Their job is bad and they have many people hanging up and treating them like it’s their fault that you’re been interrupted. Fact is, the problem isn’t the person on the other end of the telephone but the whole process.
